On the way back to the bus the locals were hosing us down. And we got some paella from a local which was the best we have had so far.

We gave our **** clothes to some guy collecting them I'm guessing he is going to clean them and try to sell them??

At 2 the bus left back to Valencia and everyone fell asleep. Tonight is the after ...

... night was something else, we had booked tickets to the football game which was a final that Barcelona were playing in. About 30 people from our hostel were going to the game so we all headed there together which was heaps of fun. The game and the atmosphere were absolutely amazing, completely unrelated. After lunch we had a quick break before going on the funicular. Most of the group took the funicular that goes down to the holy cave where the black Madonna was found, but about half a dozen of us decided to take the one to the top of the mountain to check out the view. ...

... was right. We had some others on the bus that seemed a bit like foreign party animals. They were those people that seemed like that would drink way too much and do dumb things. Maybe it was youth. The calm cheery energy that I got from these were were instinctively recognizable. Truly, after spending all day with them, they were really sweet, caring people. We stuck together and took care of each other.

Axel chatted with me the whole way to Bunol. It was ...

... so many different kinds of cheese and figs. I guess that is a big thing at Montserrat. We literally sampled every cheese from every stand. And there were so many stands. Given my unhealthy obsession with cheese, I was happy to encounter such generous people willing to give us so many tastes. After we had our lunch of sampling cheeses, we went to see a church and listen to the famous boys choir. It was packed inside and we ...
