Fortunately from a time perspective, they have a 10km long tunnel straight through Mont Blanc which made for a pretty efficient trip and we arrived on schedule in Geneva. We have now started our pre-skiing boot camp so are running every day and now that we have left Italy, will be laying off the carbs. On our way to Geneva we found a great shoe shop and have now have a full set of skiing gear including the waterproof duck boots.
