    I have grown fond of the cherubs and the Venetian chandeliers at the Grand Hotel, and I will miss them. We say 'arriverderci' to the hotel staff and are on our way. But not so fast. The drivers we met at the restaurant stayed at our hotel and all the guests have come outside to take pictures of their departure. We follow seven Lamborghinis out of Stresa. The traffic parts like the Red Sea for Moses and the noise in the tunnel is deafening.
