The hotel in Villavicencio has a large swimming pool and a public area. At the restaurant small snacks and typical regional dishes are served.
The staff is utterly kind and does anything to make your stay comfortable. They even will pick you up and bring you to Villavicencio if you don't have your own transport.

I bought a little book with nice pictures of places in Colombia, and Cano Cristales really jumped out at me. I googled it and it looked amazing, i asked people had they been and nobody had heard of it.
