RIO HUMADEA, GUAMAL - META We travel back from Puerto Gaitan to Villavicencio and from there we took another bus to our destination Rio Humadea; this river is totally different then the rivers in Puerto Gaitan (Manacacias river and Yucao river), the round colorful rocks, the beautiful clear water and the little fish swimming in this warm water are so special. The level of the river is low at this time of the year, walking between the rocks is fun with tennis shoes ...

... My instructor Juanco was awesome and made the experience incredible flying like a bird over the jungle down to the plains of Colombia, once during the day and once at night on my last evening in Colombia. There couldn't have been a more magnificent way to end my trip in Colombia.

I´m not sure why I chose to come to Bogota. There´s not much here that appeals to me. Another city with museums, bars, and unspectacular sites. Regardless, I´m here and will make the most of it. There are two ways to get to Mendoza from Uspallata - the easy way and the hard way. I took the hard way, to avoid the lorries and enjoy the scenery. This entailed a climb out of Uspallata, on a gravel road, to a height of 3000m. The main problem with the gravel road was that the other side always looked smoother than the side I was on.
