... debating whether to put it all on your back or to distribute the contents into a hand held bag as well that will make your arm lose circulation but relieves some back stress. (I know, woe is me, poor little European traveler. No sympathy, I get it.) Anyway, I opted for the 2-pack for this travel day. I knew I was going to be on a long bus ride so I had my computer and books and earphones, etc. in a smaller bag. The hulking backpack that looks like a tightly wrapped ...
Valencia, Valencia, Spain josiezimI am never taking an overnight train again. So I left Granada at 10 pm on the overnight train to Valencia and since all the couchette beds were booked, I had to sleep on the regular seats. This train was so uncomfortable. Try getting sleep while sitting in a stiff chair with all the lights on and tons of people making noise, talking, moving about to get off at their stops and at one point a woman sat next to me with her crying baby. I barely slept at all and my ...
Valencia, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands hippietraveler... br>olive oil
(balsamic vinegar = optional)
salt
pepper
rosemary
Cut the veggies and patatoes in slices, big is nice, and put them on the tray. Pour now the oil over it and add the herbs and the spices. If you dont have patatoes its nice to mix some balsamic vinegar with the oil. If you have patatoes its nicer to add rosemary. Grill everything in the oven at max 200 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes.

Then Back to Valencia
Then... It was not till we got ALL the way back... after 7 hours of driving, were we rear ended by a chinese couple- go figure... i suppose that's when it happens huh... Luckily tough "Daisy" only suffered a few dents... which aren't considered as a big deal in Europe... we got the driver's information and called it a day... the people didn't care at the rental place so all was good. ... bathroom ever. It reminded me of the dirtiest toilet in Scotland from Trainspotting. The floor was soaked in urine and I had all my bags with me. I had to crouch over a toilet with my big backpack on, holding my daypack and laptop bag to my chest. It was quite a challenge. Once that was taken care of I found the bus I needed and got to the hostel. Actually I didn't notice the hostel until the bus passed it but I didn't have to walk far from the next stop. The hostel is quite nice ...

After that we wanted to go shopping in the modern part of the city but we also saw some beautiful ancient Gates here. Sorry to say i don't remember their manes but there so ...

Valencia, Spain michelleshin... a little out of the way, and we relaxed there a little bit before taking the metro to walk a little through the royal gardens. We had tried Pans for lunch and they weren't too impressed, and the tapas restaurant I had been to with Ashley was closed (Sunday). I therefore had to resort to the kebab. I left them to relax and caught the metro home. I skipped perhaps a few classes Monday morning, but did make it to French. The plan was to meet the fam at the weird buildings in ...
