... van een prachtige zonsondergang. Het buffet biedt ontzettend veel keuze en het ziet er allemaal heel lekker uit. Als voorgerecht nemen we sushi, sashimi, een krabbenpoot en salade. Als hoofdgerecht houden we het erg bescheiden met enkel een gegrilde kreeftenstaart. Het is ongelooflijk maar ik denk dat ik hier al alle dagen kreeft gegeten heb. Ook hier was het weer erg lekker.

Na het eten maken we nog een wandelingetje en dan gaan we eens vroeg naar bed. ...

... in the full heat of the day, it was still warm and getting warmer by the time we reached the top, but this was all forgotten as soon as we entered the cave. At least 20 degrees cooler if not more, the cave descends to a small pool below and all the stalagtites and stalagmites glisten with moisture. We arrived in Crete almost two hours later yesterday due to some incident on the ship where someone fell,jumped, whatever overboard. ... so we will have to have round two of that.

As we were quite roasted from yesterday and the sun was burning down we stayed indoors for a bit doing admin etc. Our rather large dirty clothes bag came to mind so I asked Big Dora where we might do some laundry. Turns out apparently the closet one is in the town towards the beach and according to Big Dora “Must walk, only 20 minutes, yes yes you fine, go go”. Cool so off we set with the bag on our backs…at least ...

It was then time for round one of Aussie vs Saffa Ping Pong tournament – different code but I still won 2 games to 3!!

More roasting in the sun, a very relaxed arvo, dinner then another early night. All this chilling out really takes it out of you.

Tomorrow we hopefully have another game of tennis, possibly the beach before packing up and moving to our originally intended ...
