We woke up to a German breakfast prepared by Ingeborg (very different to the sweet French breakfast) of bread, baked pretzels, smoked ham and eggs. Franz had already left for work so Ingeborg took us into Pforzheim by train. Pforzheim is known for its jewellers and goldsmiths.
