I was pleased to leave the congestion of Mumbai, with its population of 24 million. ... few tranquilisers as we only counted 4 near misses (or rather, near hits) on the way back.

... with the vendor and he was very kind to us, chuckling when we all introduced ourselves in Hindi. "Mera nam Becki hai. Apka nam kya hai?"
But soon the noodles had run out and it was time for us to walk back to the International House. We said our goodbyes and headed home, the road lit by the light of a full moon. My mouth still has the flavor of chili in it and my tongue is still burning. That's how you know it was a good meal.

... the main aim of the lesson I took it upon myself to do it my way and have done for the rest of the week. So far there have been no bad side effects for them or me although there have been some protests from the young people that we haven't done things the "right" way.

Day 2 there were 50 something children. Day 3 there were 62 and day 4 there were 65. Not sure if this will increase on Monday. One thing for sure is that the chapel is not very big (approx. 10m x 3 m) ...
