... Highlands. Aviemore is a small winter resort town that reminds me of Whistler (kinda). We stopped at a local pub for some beer and than to Lynn and Paul's place outside of town. Next, we went to Den Helder and had a great visit with Martine's mom and dad at their home followed by some more site seeing around town and on the dike and watching a large barge and tug pass through the locks on the canal on its way to the North Sea.
