Today we took an early bus from Leiden to Lisse about a half-hour drive. It was the perfect day to visit Keukehof Gardens, cool, but sunny with little wind. The gardens are a spectacular sight, 86 acres of millions of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and muscari. After a quick pit stop memorable for the continual smell of weed, and the, er, voluptuousness of some of the window ladies we headed south to Leiden to stay with my cousin James and his wife Ais. With just Brussels to go now, this really has started to feel like the end!
