... the town from sever flooding. The museum is reached by a short 15 minute boat ride and provides a unique perpesctive of life in the late 1800s, early 1900s in the region. Many houses and businesses/ trades are displayed in period style buildings for a real hands on tour. One of the most interesting to date. We'll call it performance art. Nice music listening experiences so far: - Ornette Coleman - ferry to Denmark - David Behrman-misty bridge crossing islands in Denmark, - Grouper - after 3 hr sleep -van to ...

Today started with our daily walk around Enkhuizen. A few highlights today included finding a beautiful park where we found an emu, some deer and alpacas. We also watched some maintenance being done on the pylons on the canals. We looked at some wonky walls, nothing seems square in the old parts of the towns and wandered down a street decorated in preparation for the World Cup, the Dutch love their soccer and national team, orange everywhere. We will miss our walks around ...
