    ... instead of us doing it we had to go home to help and eat it so we only got to see 4 truck runs. The event was to finish at 10pm and we left at 6:30pm but I loved every minute that I got to see. When we got home Oome Jac and Tante Jo had come to join us for dinner as we had enough to feed an army. After dinner it was off to bed as we have to be up at 5;30am tomorrow to start our journey home. We have had an amazing adventure but we are all very ready for home and our own beds. By ...

    ... to the owners. They are breeders of alpacas and after breakfast we head into the fields and meet the herd (if that's how a group of alpacas is called...). They are beautiful animals. Their eyes remind me of giraffes. We get to feed them a little bit and I feel sharp teeth grazing on my palm, eager for all the bits to eat.     ... to the 2 people that were still up, and then the fire alarm went off. The power went out and it created a malfunction with the fire alarms system. All of a sudden the whole hostel was outside (luckily it stopped raining) For a good 30 minutes the alarm went on and off, on and off... It got to the point that people just went to bed and didn't worry about it. Power was restored around 10 am. It rained most of the early day today. I walked around with ...
