    A sleep-in until 8.30 stated the day , with the usual home made jams ,croissants , joghurt ,etc in the lovely walled garden, followed a very pleasant pursuit of the owners black Labrador which escaped just as we were leaving , the ******* . A sense of conscience made us chase the bloody dog , which thoroughly enjoyed the chase over a main road as far as the beach , anyway Ali caught him and the final return was being dragged home by the owner.     ... to Chinon, I walked into town to buy a couple of jam spoons that I had really wanted to get in 2009, but at that time the shop was closed each time I went by. I looked for these particular jam spoons throughout the rest of that tour but never found them. This time the shop was open, so I was able to get what I wanted. Yay!
