I try to use a few very basic French words or phrases or point to word in the French-English Phrase book, but there are still occasions I can't work out what a word means or how to express something, but there is often someone speaks some English or ...

We used the last one to connect our clear pipe to our blue pipe to reach a tap, so we need to replace that. And Sue gave us rillettes d'oel and I wanted to get some to take with us. ... with frustration at not being able to pass them. Really nothing much to see at all. Flat farmland everywhere. Drizzling rain has given way to pouring rain as we approach Tours, its nearly 4.30pm. We have been on the road for many hours. Really keen to get to our Gite. We stopped to buy fresh fish and salad for dinner and a bio break
