... host was lovely. She made us a very nice breakfast and we were on the road by about 10:30. It was yet another gorgeous weather day. Again, we did lots of driving on winding, narrow, steep Alpine mountain roads. The scenery was endlessly fabulous. We did our picnic lunch in a beautiful roadside stop.

A year ago, almost to the date, we had the fortunate ability to host a most wonderful family from Switzerland in our home. Priska and Thibaut were Swiss nationals and had two girls Delphine and Yasmine. ... hahah) but it was the most amazing water I have ever been in. It was all melted snow caps and such a pretty color. Not to mentioned it tasted great. My favorite part was when we got to zip line off a cliff and drop into the water below! He looped the rope through your harness and you held on to the rope, keeping you from dropping, then said when I scream let go then let go and you'll drop. It was AWESOME. I can't even explain how exciting and thrilling it was. I didn't even have ...

... chicken and salad meal. I think we had the best of it!

The scenery was nice ...... More picture postcard scenes from Switzerland. This country is so neat and clean. Everyone seems to make a real effort to have everything looking its best. There are flower boxes with colourful displays everywhere and the houses are always in good condition. We were surprised by the number if small villages ...
