... host was lovely. She made us a very nice breakfast and we were on the road by about 10:30. It was yet another gorgeous weather day. Again, we did lots of driving on winding, narrow, steep Alpine mountain roads. The scenery was endlessly fabulous. We did our picnic lunch in a beautiful roadside stop.

The scenery was nice ...... More picture postcard scenes from Switzerland. This country is so neat and clean. Everyone seems to make a real effort to have everything looking its best. There are flower boxes with colourful displays everywhere and the houses are always in good condition. We were surprised by the number if small villages ...

We walked through the 250m tunnel into a massive 360 deg cinema viewing of the mountain with big sound music, then though the Alpine sensation consisting of walking along ice tunnels and viewing ice scupltures 20 metres below the surface of the glacier.Wow!

We then went up in a very fast elevator to the sphinx viewing platform. What a view being rightly named Top ...
