    ... we had not eaten anything or had anything to drink since early morning. We had had to empty out all our water bottles before getting on the plane and had not thought to refill them in the Brussels Airport. I was really dehydrated and it was an effort to get to our room.     ... way though the crowds to get back to the bike shop, in the end we were only a couple of minutes late, but we had made it.

    We had dinner at the markets, and while we were eating we chatted to a couple a English teachers about the English invasion of Bruges as it is just a quick ferry trip across.

    ... It was the nicest and most well-organized AirBnB experience we had yet witnessed.

    ... It's more like Holland than France with loads of people riding bikes, cleaner towns and little canals running alongside the roads. Even the houses look nicer with much fancier roofs in quite a dutch style. I keep having to remind myself that I'm in Belgium and not Holland as I'm bound to put my foot in it. Anyway, I much prefer this place to France!
