      ... this moving memorial to the fallen. At times, up to 1,000 visitors have gathered at night for this Service. Last night, we had about 150 – 200 gather in the cold evening air, to watch and listen.       ... It's more like Holland than France with loads of people riding bikes, cleaner towns and little canals running alongside the roads. Even the houses look nicer with much fancier roofs in quite a dutch style. I keep having to remind myself that I'm in Belgium and not Holland as I'm bound to put my foot in it. Anyway, I much prefer this place to France!

      Last I left off, we were on a train heading to Brussels. We decided to do a quick stopover there and see the main sites on our way to Bruges for the night.
