          ... U.S. comes close. We ended up on Via Magenta and enjoyed lunch at the Magenta Bar ( although our Russian?? waitress wasn't the most pleasant.

          Later that night we had scheduled a walking tour of Milan, essentially to see Leonardo de Vincci's The Last Supper. Tickets are hard to get and sell our months in advance.           ... you were paying, they were playing your song! Then I got a tour of the hostel. Upstairs they have free food for when you're hungry. A few new pasta sauces, pasta, biscuits, fruit, heaps of herbs. Very impressive!! The rooftop was also lovely. Then free dinner at 7-9 so everyone can mingle. Quite nice dinner.
