We boarded the bus at 9:00 am for the one hour beautiful drive to Domaine Saint Hilaire Winery. Our tour guide, Wendy, taught wine tasting and wine pairing in England and was amazing. She was so enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge with us. After learning more than we could ever remember about the process of making wine, we headed back down to the house for a wine tasting, conducted by Wendy and Daniel (the owner's son). The more we tasted, the louder the group got. It was ...

A nice, cosy change as we head North.

Admittedly we were nearing late afternoon and like seeing multiple museums were were getting a tad tired.  That said, of all fo the little villages across France we find it hard to believe this would be in the top five. It does have a small river that separate the two sides to the village, an old castle and a church on ...

... a single Inn with a few rooms.  It was where a Queen Margo was banished to back in the 15 century or so by her brother (check wikipedia if you want proper facts). It was another fun town to walk through and see the old churches and structures.  A small hike to the top and you were with a huge statue of Mary and her baby on the hill top - which can be seen for miles when driving around the region. Some great views and nice to have ...
