Most of the city centre is pedestrian access only, we find the tourist office, and book ourselves in for a guided walk around the city at 2pm. Wandering around town, there's a lot of upmarket shops, and Pete is intrigued by the demolition of a building on the edge of the city centre. This was a life-saver, since even if my parents could have come to the airport with us (instead they stayed at the train station to catch a train to Normandy for the next 3 days), we still would have had more than one item of luggage per adult.
