We are staying here for another day. We aren't sure yet where we will go after this. But there are several places that we are considering, including Orleans, Blois and Chinon. It was a watery sun this morning. Lunch with Sue and Tony in Les Rairies. It is so good to catch up with someone who has been a friend for over 40 years. The rain started after lunch and we quickly did the shopping we needed before heading back to Monty. We found when we were at a previous aire, ...

So got sorted, found a pitch which suited and settled down. A lunch of cold roti de porc was garlicky, but filled the spaces. And off to see our ...

... and got directions from two chaps - at the same time - all in French. However, the arm waving did help somewhat and eventually, we found a sign which more or less pointed us in the right direction. Oh boy, were we glad we were not towing our caravan!! This Aire is just beautiful. Right on the side of the river, a very nice little town just over the bridge with a supermarket, patisserie and butcher. ...

... been crazy about, until again I had them in their source country. While the chocolate and salted caramel ones were good, it was the lemon that was amazing. I could have eaten six of them, but alas I only bought one :(.

Took the long way back to the hostel so we could see Paris at night. Notre Dame, The Louvre, and The Seine all lit up was a beautiful sight. Going to come back in a couple of nights to take some pictures.
