A peak on the far western edge of the Black Mountains. 1,083ft. Overlooks the Baie de Douarnenez to the south and the River Aulne to the north. Sacred in Celtic lore, the mountain is also the land of the korrigans and of the elves of Amorican popular belief and ...

We arrived late after a big day of travel. A pretty town rising on both sides from a river with foot and road bridges every 50 meters.

After our delicious lunch we ate light in an upstairs Creperie run by a Mother and son. Just the job, a carafe of wine and a savory and sweet crepe each.

Back at our hotel we had made reservations for tonight. What a wonderful time and superb meal we all had. Collectively we had scallops, duck and steak for the main course. Our appetizers ...

After breakfast left the Ibis Hotel and drove up the coast to Trebeuren a small seaside resort then down the coast passing through lots of little seaside towns with lovely big beaches. Locquirec is a particularly nice small seaside resort. Had the best coffee since leaving home at a little seaside village called Michel Le Greve then continued driving along seaside villages with a large expanse of beach. We turned inland from here driving through lovely green ...
