Angers is a really small airport, smallest I can recall flying into. Had to wait in room just oof the runway while the passport control staff arrived. Since plane was delayed you would have thought they would be waiting.

Greeted by Roger before we'd even got out of the car! A quick change and settle in our studio 'Le Bleuet' then off for dinner with Pam, Roger, Sue and Richard. Very disappointing meal for a three pot Logis. Hence we won't eat here ...

... old (and abandoned) Troglodyte Farm. Really incredible the way people used the underground for their homes and some very clever techniques. Cheap too...if they had another baby they just dug out a room, and sold the stone for some cash! Easy! We eventually had to leave this little underground world and find a place to sleep for the night...needless to say dinner was not required! (Just another glass of ...
