... Cat did not want to get close to us at all.

When we got to the dolmen, there was a door in the structure and I thought it wasn’t open which would have been disappointing because it was supposed to be and also said it was one of the best which is why we came to this one. But the sign said a tour was in progress. It was a private tour which was obvious when the door opened because it was three people. A couple had come ...

With the boys and girls now gone we felt a bit alone and Annie decided she needed some retail therapy to cheer her up. We headed off for Vannes, a quaint old town around 45 mins drive east of Lorient. The town is very pretty. It's got a lovely old centre and down by the river is lovely spot for coffee on a warm day as it was by the time we arrived. Annie hit the shops, they ...

At 7.50E each, the tour was disappointing; they didn't stop at all for photos and the English commentary was uninformative at best, although it did provide a good overview of the area and I did get a few photos from the moving train.

We returned to La Trinite-sur-Mer for dinner at a place on the yacht harbour and had steaks! Yeah I know, but I'm getting tired of seafood and crepes.

    She must be mad!

... since its a yacht run aground. The super moon has produced very high, and low tides, and I guess they couldn't sail where they normally do and got beached. Coastguard didn't seem to concerned but did send out a police jet ski.

Adam and Sarah arrived last night. We picked them up from Dinard (St. Malo), 2 hrs drive, and so now we are complete and looking forward to a family week.
