August 3rdMade an early start from the Ile de Glenans 8.15am as the seas were flat and little wind unfortunately not enough wind to sail so motoring again not what we enjoy but we need to move south as quickly as possible. Breakfast on the move, toast with homemade bread, jam and marmalade and a cuppa sun out lovely start to the day. David put the line over to see if he could catch our tea...... The wind was forecast to change direction sooner than our earlier forecast so we picked up the anchor and proceeded to the other side, like many others.

We spent the evening watching others come to this spot and last count before retiring we saw 40 boats, including a dutch barge at anchor. ...

... continued on and decided to head for Le Palais (at first we wanted to spend another night at anchor but, things change). We decided on the outer harbour where we had to moor bow to buoy and stern to chain on the harbour wall - not that easy when you have a dinghy dangling on the back - but the harbour-master was exceptional in assisting us (and others) on getting on.

    We ...
