BUT, apart from all of this the place was charming and the owner more than helpful! When asked about eating, he offered to add us to his party that he was cooking for, so for the amazing sum of 39E we had dinner (Mussels/Pork/Icecream/Coffee), wine and overnight camping ...

Little to report today beyond the meagreness of the hotel breakfast (which meant I had to go straight out to get another one from a café) and that I spent several hours in a Cyber Gaming Café updating this blog while surrounded by a crowd of crazy gamers, playing across networks and screaming at each other and their screens ... but I guess it keeps them off the street ;)

This is what a rest day should feel like - just chilling out, updating the blog, catching ...

... so stepped inside. Pastis to open and then dived into frogs' legs followed by a generous slice of rib steak from the famous charolais cow, which was actually very tasty but not a great texture. Half bottle of St. Pourcain (from the town I cycled through earlier) to wash it down and finished with a delicious crumble of myrtles and other regional wild berries. Weaved my way through the network of tiny streets back to the hotel and some much needed ...
