          ... in the sense that they are miniature versions (they are cute). There is one small one-lane paved road thru the village - mostly used for walking. French, German, and English are all spoken in these villages. We heard mostly English and had no trouble conversing anywhere. Would highly recommend - but next time I'd spend 3-4 days and plan for more hiking (we did about 12 miles the day we were there) and such. Beware that it is expensive ...

          ... students. All of they were there. The three break-aways rejoined the group. Apparently the big group went for the wrong castle. When they realized the castle was several kilometers out of town, they made their way to right one. Munot Castle was built in the 16th century.

          ... dark tunnel that burrows through Eiger for some way – the tunnel took 3000 men 16 years to drill. There are 10 minute viewing stops, of the glaciers and snow capped mountains – I am a bit stunned by how magic it truly is, almost there, we arrive at the sci-fi Sphinx meteorological station – Europe’s highest train station.
