The signpost on the nearby path indicated it was a 45 minute walk to the next station, and we had left ourselves just less than 40 minutes, if we were to get the train.....and the path was mostly covered in snow, and mostly VERY uphill. Anyway, ...

... snow fall for the first time in our lives. It was absolutely amazing and being able to play in it made me feel completely nostalgic for childhood, but in a good way. My friend invited us over for a dinner party with his family and family friends, which was great! I was finally able to practice my French! They were some of the most welcoming people I have ever met and made us feel incredibly comfortable, regardless of the fact that we had never met them before. We explored ...

... I was looking forward to after my pal in Lyon told me about it last night. Unfortunately it is a 40 minute walk to and from it, and I don't make up my mind in time to go with my new English friend (I thought a small branch would spring up 5 min walk from hostel at the bars there, but when I walk over it's still just bars and they don't have the vibe I'm after). Instead it'll be a night of rest to top off a day of relaxing, before an early (very) start for Switzerland ...
