To ensure that all bits for our bikes had infact been retrieved we spent the afternoon having a shakedown ride around Lake Annecy. The plan was 37km around the lake shore (i.e flat). Navigation was Rob's responsibility......we ended up with 60km and 500m of climbing....and feeling well and truly shook down. All was relieved by a cooling evening swim in the lake.
Dinner at a very pleasant bistro in the old town finished the day.
