    We headed through the French countryside, opting for the country roads as the tollways were going to cost 90 euros which we thought could buy 2 dinners in exchange for 2 hours of extra driving (which secretly pleased me because I'd seen some nice fields to photograph).     ... but has a few crumbs of both. No dressing... and remind me never to have anything with endives in it again...Yeeuch!

    However we make up for it with delicious French icecream and espresso coffee from the shopping
    centre when we return to Chalon. Framboise et rhum raisan... I can't say which is more delicious!
