      ... on the highway! By the time we realized where we were headed it was too late to turn around and we were following an old man that seemed to have no problem being on the highway on his flimsy pedal bike! Needless to say, we found a different route back to Colmar!

      Great weekend, definitely glad I've gotten the chance to explore more of the beautiful country I live in. There is so much to see here, I find it hard to go anywhere else!

      We enjoyed quiet evening in the pleasant Aires which is situated next to a small park which has a very large wine press at one DBS and a children's play area at the other. This morning maintenance decided to change the fuel pump on the water heater as we still have a small water leak, we then walked into the village to buy some bread.       ... tour. This was a nice way to see the city and we all listened in to the children’s audio guide and were treated to recounts of the dark and murky past of Strasbourg including bridges where they executed criminals and the forts which were used by the soldiers during the second world war.

      Today was another quiet day with the morning spent back at school. We also had the chance to visit the home area of the owners of our Gite and were quite surprised by their collection of stuffed animals on display in the lounge. They told us that the animals were all one's they had caught themselves including a fox that they found in the back yard. Kate and Roy are not too sure what to make of them.
