      ... leaving the cathedral, we took a walking tour of the streets. The Christmas Market was in full swing, so we had a small pretzel each … and a glass of hot wine, which was very much appreciated in the cold weather (particularly because of the breeze, today was a lot colder than previously). Other sites in the town include a 3rd Century Roman triumphal arch, which we walked through.

Once we finally worked out where we were we chose to not take the motorway option and headed towards Dijon through what we thought looked like a nice scenic route through a mountain range. Oli managed to look up from his ipad at a timely moment, and yells out SNOW.       ... our back pack. We spent the evening wandering the city, a stop at the tourism office enlightened me the Möet and C****** was closed for reservations so I wouldn't be able to do there tour. My heart sank I came all this way especially to see their champagne. We had dinner at this French place that had like pub food it was quite nice the poor waitress didn't speak much English and hardly understood ...

      ... t have more time to spend together but I had to get back to work....which was hard as there was lots to catch up on and an overflowing in tray. Oh how nice it would be to only have to work part time :)

      Sasha and Ben came back on the Wednesday and spent a couple of days here soaking up the sun which is still shining (mostly). It was actually getting quite cold in Reims. We had a lovely dinner in Villefranche ...
