The cuisine is well worth exploring and includes local Toulouse Sausages as well as Cassoulet, a sustaining stew made with meat, vegetables and beans which is filling as well as tasty. The southern warmth of the city extends to the locals, who are friendly and more welcoming to non-French speakers than in many parts of the country.

This morning Kate and Roy were quite pleased with the decision from the Principal that today would be a short day for schooling! At about 10.30am we headed off to the pink city of Toulouse.
