... and come out of the frame. This would be awkward anytime but was made worse by the fact that the next Airbnb guests are arriving tomorrow, so somewhat urgent to get the window fixed. Bob and Daisy were out and in central London and were incommunicado and Lucy was trying to ring her insurers. In the end we got Bob and he went back and made a temporary fix till the insurers take over on Monday.

I decided to go downhill and after exiting the Metro station I noticed some restaurants. I had a look at several, but they seem to be very expensive, with a freakin' hamburger priced at CH$ 25 or more (which is about Cdn$34). One restaurant had Pasta dishes at fairly reasonable prices, so I was going to dine there until the waiter mentioned that they only offer hamburgers until after 18:00. This town ...

... we were in Lausanne. Angela bade us farewell at this point as we headed to yet another train station to find our way down to the lake.

Most pedestrian areas around Swiss lakes are simply gorgeous. Full of parks, sitting areas and sights to amaze. With a family of young children, and Tony, it is akin to a young version of turrets when trying to have a conversation.
