... us all a reservation at a sushi / tapas bar for dinner, and we all squashed in their little car to get there at about 7pm. What a night! ... the goods. They are narrow on the canal side and longer in depth and height because they were taxed based on how much was built along the canal. ... observance following on from that, was that we saw very few, if any, obese folk in Amsterdam. Parallel parking takes on another meaning in Amsterdam, bikes several deep attached to railings by chains. Lo and behold if yours is the one closest to the fence!!!
