    ... the rest of the family were up and about and it was time again time for an al fresco breakfast with freshly baked croissants. Later we went to Delft (all except Mike) and caught the train to Rotterdam which was large with new and and old buildings and a modern indoor shopping market. There was way too much to see in one short visit but we were all glad we had gone there and have a visit to the Delft china factory tomorrow and possibly another bike ride.

    ... the Old Church aka the leaning tower of Delft. A canal was filled in to make room for this church,in 1325 . The tower began to subside during construction, but it was stabilised and the final bit was built 'straight up' so the tower has a kink! It has been leaning for over 650 yrs , but ...

    ... amounts of water to shade. I was doing so well until I dropped my brush right on my plate! Ugh, I was so mad at myself! I showed the instructor what I did and she asked me why I did that. I wanted to say cuz I'm a klutz. She was able to sand most of it out thank goodness. You see the finished products. They get fired and miraculously turn blue. Yay! They will be shipped to my house in several weeks. Back to Amsterdam for Dutch pancakes. It was a long but fun day.

    ... next to me but I'm far too excited.

    Also Schipol airport have swingy,spinny chairs so I'm currently irritating all of gate E20 :D.

    That was pretty much it really short flight done, long one to go....see you on the other side.

    ... a chilly stroll along the boardwalk so we found a sheltered spot in one of the many touristy beach bars and had an extremely overpriced and disappointing late lunch. Our B&B was in a very genteel neighbourhood which, while nice, was very sedate and quiet and gave the impression that The Hague was a lot more staid than it actually is.
