... of mad wasps, with one engine and no wind I thought this just gets better and better. On the third morning it was glorious - but there was no wind at all and we were still 70 miles from land, 5 knots average would have been more than welcome at this stage, so on went the one engine and we crawled forward at around 2 Knots for the next 3 hours - Spain seemed a very long way off but we were heading to a band of cloud, now for all them weather ...

... thing but it is nice to know people are also crossing at the same time. Tomorrow we will start getting the boat ready, fuelling her up, filling the tanks, doing engine and sail checks etc Tonight it's another night on the outside because there are no other berths free to get at, we keep trying all combinations on the ropes but none are working how we would like them too, Looks like another sleepless ...

... clams and cockles went into the Thai Soup I made for dinner and went down well, the lob worms, crab and mussels we used for bait fishing off the back of the boat but the motion is that bad you wouldn't know if you had a bite or not so no fish today. We had our nightly jolly into town to check weather (again) emails etc and came back to watch a Dvd. I was right about a poor nights sleep - I was forever up and down checking the mooring lines - We are moving back inside tomorrow for ...
