The evenings we spent playing a more sophisticated game of 'wink murder', hope the neighbours weren't kept awake with laughter.

It was around this time I seriously had visions of us selling the boat and buying a camper van. But on the second night the wind died down about midnight and seemed to have left us with no wind whatsoever in what could only seem to me as the M1 Motorway of Biscay, with ships everywhere showing up on my AIS all pointing at us like like ...

    Last Day in Camaret

... to rush it - were hoping we made the right choice. I checked the engines and repaired a cleat which had started to come loose with all the stress put on it when we were on the outer harbour breakwater. Tracey did her washing, got the side panels down off the canopy ready for a quick getaway in the morning and we bought the last of our groceries which we'll need for next few days. The crossing is approx 315 miles harbour to harbour and we ...
