    ... you pay a tourist tax but that also entitles you to free public transport. We caught a trolley bus into the main part of town. On the way the bus got pulled over by the cops, that was a first. I think he got a warning because we were soon on our way. The town is really hilly and you need to take a train to go from one side to the other.

    ... we found Graham easily going through his pre race rituals( which means multiple visits to the toilet) It was soon time to put on the wet suit and join the other GB old boys. Although all competitors there is a commaradery between the group of about 10 "old boys" which were the last wave to go off.     ... L'Azzura, which seemed popular with the locals and recommended on trip advisor. Lasagne and salad plus too much to drink. Tiramisu was à la maison, but not cakey enough for my liking. €55 all in for two people.

    My stay in Geneva has been a wonderful repose for me and very necessary before my next big adventure where I know I will be seeing lots of sights. In addition to relaxing and getting a lot of work done, I did manage to get out and about a bit and even make some lovely friends.
