... to be around and made us miss our parents even more becasue we knew they would do the same thing. Cinque Terre was beautiful and the hike was breathtaking. The sun never felt so warm and that was enough for us because we came from days of rain. The tiny villages were all so cute and quiet. Due to it be low season, they do not get many tourists so we had a few looks. We were told that in the summer you would not be able to move because each village is so packed with people. ...

We left the lovely town of l'Isle-sue-la-Sorgue this morning, bound for the French Riveria. We enjoyed L'Isle, a great village with lots to see and do within the town and close by. People talk a lot about the Provence area in France and having spent a week there I can understand why. Just beautiful. It would be breathtaking when all the little lavendine flowers were in bloom, but then you would have the summer crowds, so more than happy for the time ...

So today, even though the sun shone & the Mediterranean sparkled we felt a bit flat. We headed off arpund 10 am to explore the Old Town. Lots of quaint lane ways & interesting tops. The sales are on do some good bargains but not always for big people like Kay & I . Kay ...

It's great being around people that love me. Recharges me. Tomorrow I'll be in Barcelona and the "plan" from there is to explore Portugal, Spain, maybe Morocco. Work a bit. Enjoy a mild winter. Have some time in isolation. Continue to budget well. 6weeks later come back to France for Xmas. Cos a solo Xmas just doesn't appeal in the least.
