A bit of a laid back day today. Took an early train to Cannes to have a look around, only spent the morning there though. Took a few photos then returned to camp for a restful afternoon. We have enjoyed staying here, the facilities at the camp are excellent, very clean, a little noisy but it is a very big camp so you would expect that. ... to climb in this park and my kids were PSYCHED to climb it. So yes, I let them. Rowan was scared she would get busted by the park cop. :) Differences I observed: 1. Apparently French kids go to bed later than Canadian kids. Little 2 year olds were still givin' er when we left at 7. I note than many seemed tired though. 2. French parents seem much less doting than Canadian parents. They rarely seemed to know what their kids were doing, much less where they were. Toddlers left ...

It's great being around people that love me. Recharges me. Tomorrow I'll be in Barcelona and the "plan" from there is to explore Portugal, Spain, maybe Morocco. Work a bit. Enjoy a mild winter. Have some time in isolation. Continue to budget well. 6weeks later come back to France for Xmas. Cos a solo Xmas just doesn't appeal in the least.
