I arrived to Amsterdam at around 10AM on Thursday. I met up with Roel, who I met on couch surf, at Amsterdam Science Park. My first impression of him was that he was intelligent, cultured, but a little judgmental. Anyway, I spent the night on his floor in his tiny student apartment. ... station was just to get us off their backs :( It was only after the train manager took pity on us that Tara and I were upgraded to first class where they had a spare spot for a wheelchair. Otto died in 1980, but the museum is still one that people flock to see and a reminder to ensure that this sort of prejudice never happens again.
After our tour of the Anne Frank House, we made our way back to our hostel where we dropped off our belongings and ventured into the cultural, ...

It's not like riding a bike

... easy enough. Wrong. This is the part where I tell you I'm rather incompetent at riding a two wheeler, somewhat of an expert at the excercycle though. Apart from a rather embarrassing and painful ride through a mountain biking forest in Rotorua, my bike riding experience is somewhat limited which is why Billy questioned just why I thought signing up to riding a bike in Amsterdam was such a good idea. There's that age old saying of "just like riding a bike" this ...
