  • 2 x dilatations with Jaques Bergman - post surgical, needle-knife incisions, then 18mm CRE balloon, then triamcinolone; I noticed they have SG dilators up to 20mm, but apparently rarely use the largest; JB and PF both generally prefer bougies to balloons in the oesophagus

... sounds. I learnt very fast that in Spain, most people do NOT speak English. I ended up getting a roll-type sandwich from a place called Pan. It was basically processed crumbed chicken fillets in a long roll with a hint of lettuce and tomato. It was very average. But I was hungry so I ate it all, despite vowing to myself I wouldn't. ... at some amazing homes and yards....I know....I have a house obsession...but they are just so pretty! There was a man throwing a tennis ball into the water for his little dog to fetch. The dog brought the ball back to us but wouldn't drop it for us and then suddenly he saw a runner and took off running alongside him with his ball in his mouth basically hitting the guy's heels as he tried to run! I've saved the best for last! I could write a whole blog just on Pearl Jam, but I won't put anyone through that!! Our seats at the ziggodome were amazing!! Far better than we've ever had in Sydney where I've been first in queue lining up from 5am for tickets. How does that work??!! We were front row centre!
