... too far to cover in a single day on a touring bike carrying all that weight ... the bags, not me!

So I have a dilemma, which I need to resolve by the morning as my hotels are booked and paid for the remainder of the trip. To help me think it through I shall now find a restaurant and then sleep on the problem.

Distance so far: 1010 km (averaging 126 km per day of cycling - that's 30 km a day more than I averaged on my trip to Portugal in 2009 ... ...
