    A M ventured to Cadaques to tour Dali's house . After seeing museum and house I am now an official Dali fan ( wasn't before) Picnic on the way to Girona by way of lovely town of Besalu, and a swim at Banyoles. Stayed 2 nights at Pension Bellmirall .Tapas & Rosata for dinner. Breakfast on patio.

    ... trucks. We are sitting in the lobby debating start times for tomorrow which is forecast to be another hot day. Our final day is another 115 Kms. Another story which I introduced yesterday is the dog. Apparently no owner could be found. Caroline has had the dog immunized against rabies and booked him a place on our flight, so Tom is going home with a new bike and another dog. Hopefully Tom will expand on this story, but he may be too busy walking our new ...

    ... had I not stopped to ask a local for directions, but seeing how he spoke only Spanish and I speak relatively none, it made for an interesting exchange.

    Also interesting was the farmhouse(?) I passed on the edge of Garragas, that had one wing adorned with lions and penguins, and a solarium containing some mannequins - it all seemed very Michael Jackson-y.

    ... and generous as anyone, but then there's too often the exact opposite. So we will try again tomorrow, down the road.

    It was a quick trip down the highway to Girona for Caroline, Lucie and Arthur so they enjoyed lunch and an afternoon of visiting the old town in the centre of Girona. We headed back their ourselves later, relatively quickly and conveniently on the city bus, for a bit more sight-seeing and dinner. ...
