Bernadette and Pauline, and sampled some very cool Belgian beers ( I tried a few new gluten free ones) We had a wonderful dinner which worked out perfectly except for our plan of buying an extra pizza to go, so that we'd have breakfast pizza failed miserably when we stored it on the porch in the rain and ants got into it. ... in Europe and and early bed as we had risen at 0530 yesterday morning. A good sleep too as it was cooler and dark, no more midnight sun for us then! We were also surrounded by other Motorhomes, all German and the Stellplatz was full to capacity, four of us! Now enjoying an excellent coffee in a Greek cafe where the owner speaks excellent English and deciding what to do next. Can't be bad then! AND, free ...

... 3 bedroom house for 45 (the equivalent of approx. $67 AUD). The house was owned by Ingrid and Hans (how much more German could you get with names like that!!) and had previously been the home of Ingrid’s parents when they were alive. With Erasmus coming to a swift end, I looked at what I had still wanted to do and never got the chance, and so on Sunday I went with 3 other Erasmus friends to the port city of Bremerhaven, on the North Sea coast. This town is an exclave of Bremen, despite being 45 minutes away by train.

... bit of relief at first after the sunbathing weather of two weeks ago. At first I was so pleased to be reminded of home, that I announced during my German class that I actually quite like rain, as it reminds me of home - to which they all laughed!
