... drove for a bit but all we came upon was McDonalds. McDonalds our first night in Germany!?! I don't think so. Next we stop into what we thought was a little pub. Turns out it was a seedy bar and I think the only food they served was a bowl full of peanuts on each table. Finally Boy Siri helped us find an Italian restaurant. With Erasmus coming to a swift end, I looked at what I had still wanted to do and never got the chance, and so on Sunday I went with 3 other Erasmus friends to the port city of Bremerhaven, on the North Sea coast. This town is an exclave of Bremen, despite being 45 minutes away by train.

... been quite depressive and boring (or so I keep telling myself) - this all culminated in last night's fiasco, when I decided to cut my own hair, which in hindsight it probably would have been better not to have done. Although after completing most of it myself and then getting the rest tidied up by my new flatmate (yes Halina, you have been replaced), I kind of like it! (April's hat is still in the cupboard to be reused if necessary.
