... We did a prearranged tour of the town and then along the fiord to a mountain where there is a space tracking station and the current coal mine. There was still snow drifts down to sea level and the fresh water lake which supplies drinking water was still frozen. There were lots of reindeer, a sub species unique to the Svalbards. ... our first flight yesterday, hunger won out. Turns out, it was really good and the waitresses were really nice and let us practice our German on them. ... a beach scene, and you could see many see creatures like Jellyfish, whilst in Alaska you could see how they use whaling for food. After visiting I can say that it was definitely worth the visit, as it was really well created to immerse yourself in the zones.

Tomorrow we have our farewell party, whilst on Saturday we are having our final Huckelriede Party. But before this I have an exam on Saturday morning, and so my time until then is mostly studying.
