    ... 8217;t. They ask something about an appointment (I think; it was in Italian) and I hand over the name of the dentist I was told who worked here and reportedly spoke English.

    One of the woman gets a form – standard first admission I guess – and beckons me to follow.

    We go downstairs, spiral ones to boot, and she beckons a chair and says something like ‘a moment’.

    I wait about 4-5 minutes and she returns, and in English ...

    ... to complete from 1386 to1965, it's the largest in Italy and 5th largest in the world. Liam and I climbed the 200+ steps to the top, a great experience walking amongst the spires. Inside once again the floors are ornate marble mosaic patterns and large stain glass windows.
