    Almost adjusted to the time schedule, even though Heather and i don't feel like we slept a bit, I was up by 8:15. Its cold outside this morning, probably 60 degrees, cloudy, and lite rain....great weather for our last beach day, not! Getting the girls out of bed is getting tougher by the day, we don't know what it is, we wake up exhausted, but we're still running strong at midnight; perhaps the sun staying up until after 10pm has something to do ...

    Woke up to a glorious sky today. Paul did his routine of going for croissants. We had some lovely strawberries with yogurt out on the verandah and watched the comings and goings of the people on their boats. Shelley arranged for our taxi at 10:30 ant the Nice airport was very quiet. Arrived in London at 2:00 and met up with Maija who had spent the week with David's cousins in the south of England.     After an awesome breakfast, we approached Monte Carlo, Monaco. The shoreline was unbelievable as we passed by. Rugged high mountains with the city in the forefront.
