A day of cold and hot
... I noticed a cable car to one of the mighty peaks above. It was rather misty and overcast when I passed this cableway and so continued to the summit. It was here at the summit I spotted the cable car high up in the mountains and as the skies had cleared I decided to head back down the same way on the pass and take a trip on the cableway to the top of the mountain.

Sunshine and snow in the Alps
... up here I can see the road and railway over the pass I travelled yesterday. I watched a train winding its way down the pass at extremely slow pace. It looked like a tiny snake in the grass from up here. Looking across the mountains towards the east where I was going to be heading next did not look promising at all. Left castelrotto bus to Bolzano, showery only so good for travel. Bolzano by train to merano then train to mals. This was a 2carriage train massive windows even bigger than normal regional trains. Beautiful country looking at forts, castles, snow, alps. Then postal bus from mals to zermez Switzerland. It is known for travelling through 3countries over high mountains then into valley. We had a nice ride however I was feeling very achy due to this bloody head cold, I told Rhys all I felt like was a nice hot bath, 10minutes later we saw a sign promoting Aqua Dome – thermal baths!! Yipee
