While the main entries will only start with the city of Bangkok to which I will be departing on Sunday, December 1st, I did have a little peek into Denmark with my friend over a week-end in October which now will serve as a test post.

... of times! Pernile and Jannie had arranged to get bikes for the visiting Canadians so one afternoon all 16 of us went on a bike ride around Aarhus. It was quite something to see the line of 16 cyclists wheeling around the city - poor motorists who had to wait for all of us to pass before they could go!

... a couple stores, Beth found some free WiFi long enough to post on Facebook, then back to the ship, just made it before a nasty thunder storm hit. This night we met a couple from USA who are stationed in Germany, we had them up to our balcony for drinks and room service, was a great night!!
... the car. Back at the car, we had an unwelcome surprise: a parking fine. We always look carefully whether we need to pay for parking, but didn't see anything on arrival at the car park. However, as the unsympathetic traffic cop pointed out, there was indeed a sign at the entrance indicating that we needed to pay for parking. When we told him that it was in Danish and that we didn't understand, he pointed out that there was an English translation, even though he admitted that ...
... I'm going to miss both my family and friends. I really enjoyed the last dip in the lake with some of my friends.
