We packed up the house and managed to squeeze 7 people’s
luggage into the 2 small cars. Our final trip up the windy 15knm of road that
we are now quite familiar with – even seeing the legendary Italian driving with
a car overtaking another just prior to a ‘blind’ corner, plus plenty of Italian
cyclists on their Sunday hill climb ride.

We headed back down the mountain where Greta and I cooked
roast chicken for dinner and I made blueberry muffins for desert (actually
blueberry cake because we had no muffin trays!) Everyone enjoyed the fact that
we had an oven and could cook an ordinary meal that wasn’t pasta or pizza.
We have made another border crossing and into Italy, we were surprised how close to the border we were in Austria!!
