... Sunday interrupted. So the machine was telling us it was €65 for our toll so we reversed out and went into the other lane. We had the same issue and the same amount of help. Eventually by continually pushing the button the man had to come and see what the problem was and after a few minutes of us speaking Englitalian and him speaking Inglish the solution was for us to reverse out of that lane and go back and try the first one ...

them on my head and pulling them down to check the intricate detail – of which
there was plenty! It took me over an hour to complete 2.4km!! The terrain was
rocky, detailed and confusing! I was 6th out of 17 runners - the
last lady in my grade took 2 hours and 15 minutes -perseverance!

bad run and came 11th - wore
the wrong shoes and keep sliding around.
We headed back down the mountain where Greta and I cooked
roast chicken for dinner and I made blueberry muffins for desert (actually
blueberry cake because we had no muffin trays!) Everyone enjoyed the fact that
we had an oven and could cook an ordinary meal that wasn’t pasta or pizza.
... is obviously a risk for Tom with his fussiness, the first course was a salad with cold Veg and the second was Chicken with Rice and Mushrooms - It was (Tom says apart from the rice which he ate, it was much like Sarah's experience in the Cable car just with less sweating!!) the best food we have had all trip!!
We are really looking forward to the rest of our time in Italy, next stop is Venice...
