... of tomatoes, which I love but Dave hates…I think it will be very different at the conference, they always try to impress. The olives are fantastic and the wine from Thessaloniki area is very good…there is a wine cheese reception that we are looking forward to at the conference. More later…love to all.

... an additional 2 days because we are loving it! Second day we go to leave fro dinner and again it won't start, dead battery...so we call down to the place and within 15 minutes a guy comes and rattles off something about Volas (nearby mainland city) and new batteries...I assume he is putting in a new battery! Sunday we took a boat tour around the island, 7 hours with multiple stops and secluded beaches for swimming. The water is still quite cold so only the hardy swim...obviously not us! It is a touristy area full of restaurants and cafes, studios and a couple of hotels. A popular destination, and the beach is sandy with some pebbles.

It is indeed more beautiful now, very different from how it was years back.
