... night we had a few drinks at a small little bar and watched the Roma-Bologna, then went back to the terrace for some wine which was nice. I fell in love with Como because of it's location and beautiful nature that surrounded it, so I am going to rank it #2 on the list of cities I saw on this trip. The next morning (Sunday) we took a bus to Vals. Read my next post to hear about my time at Peter Zumthor's Thermal baths!

... kids in the car.

On the way back through, we stopped in Lugano to pick up the kids' hats and mittens, which I had left to dry on the radiator in the hotel room and forgotten to pick up. The statues and paintings were amazingly detailed. Since the first day we arrived we had been noticing a small church across the ...

... too much and tired due to our disruption last night. Planned to drive over the Alps into Italy only to find the road was closed, feeling very jealous of the people out skiing and snowboarding around us. Backtracked slightly to get back on the highway to take us into Italy, taking us up and over the Alps with spectacular views. Parked up near a castle overlooking a lake after loosing alot of height, no snow in sight only a backdrop of snowy peaks from the Alps.
