Sue and Tyler meanwhile bolt ahead, only to find that their short cut to the wharf is a dead end. ... selling lace. Its other claim to fame is that all the houses are painted in bright colours. They all seem to have striped curtains over their doorways - wondered if there was a body corporate stipulating colours of houses and curtains! Transferred from our bus to a ferry that took us into Venice. The weather Gods were on our side: light rain on our way there, stopped as we got off the ferry. No place like it on earth!
