Still raining. The top section of steps was like a little stream where the rain came in. The steps were more grooved I guess because of this and slippery.

Like anywhere, you can't park near a main station without the roads having restrictions on them or parking fees. 1 Euro per hour is pretty reasonable but I knew that we would have enough time to park in a free area and make the walk to the station.
