    We had a lazy day around the campsite yesterday walking down to lake Jaunay in the morning and then swimming in the afternoon. The weather was a sunny 24 degrees. Forty two Of us enjoyed a Rally Meal at the Auberge by the lake in the evening which involved a two mile return walk down the hill to the lake.     Yesterday we left St Jean de Luz and drove 240 miles to Chataillon Plage near La Rochelle where we stayed the night on a pleasant Campsite near the beach.     Today we made an earlier start to travel 3 hours north to another larger seaside town, Les Sables d'Olonne. We had organised with our Couchsurfing friends, Carole and Yoann to meet for lunch and visit the town. Today we took 'Karen' with us deciding the 'Homer' had led us down too many narrow lanes. She gives more instructions, particularly on roundabouts ( and we have passed through hundreds as traffic lights appear not to exist here) than Homer and we arrived on time. ...
