    Matera to Vieste

    ... coast road back to Vieste. The coastline is dotted with trabucci, ancient fishing traps. They are made from wood and rope and look like giant platforms with planks of wood jutting out over the sea.

    Back in Vieste, we headed out for the evening for a delicious meal of grey mullet, stuffed mussels and breaded anchovies. The restaurant was built into the side of a rock so it was like eating in a cave - very atmospheric.

    ... I believe God’s greatest cathedral resides within those God has created). But I have to laugh at the fact that Paul "makes me want to be a better Catholic."
