... a magnificent sunset as we drove West on the Poland A2.
We overnighted uneventfully in a road side parking area on the south bound route 9 in Germany. Heading on southwards we enjoyed the wonderful German roads and made good time, crossing freely into Austria.
We certainly left a part of our hearts with these special friends.
On the other hand, for those travelling from Austria ...
... along the main walking street to the plaza at the end which is one of the nicest main squares in Europe. Then out to the canal where a beautiful old galleon was giving rides to tourists. Another street full of Amber hawkers, this of course the centre of the amber trade. Returned to the city later for dinner. A very good pasta in a busy brewery restaurant. And then a very good sleep in our Villa ...
... games began.
First there was some archery, I was obviously getting called Robin Hood as the token Englishman, a tall fella came and spoke to me at this point, and spoke very loudly in quite good English, about how he had stayed in Canterbury for a few years. He did seem a little worse for wear already, and this proved true later in the evening.
I being Robin Hood used one arrow, hit the target, and quit while I was ahead.

... kind of festival being set up in the old town, with a big stage erected and lots of beer tents ready to go. We listen to the sound checks for a while before going to explore the best the town has to offer. We walk around the walled old town, find an oven built into the old wall and even come across a bookshop selling English books, where we add to our collection. After a good explore, we drive to Oradea, our last stop in Romania, where we spend the night at another ...
Hmmmmm where to start?
I was riding towards Gdansk, it was a nice day, the roads were good.
Then this odd motorbike overtook.
I looked, as bikers do we waved, and then later on I caught up with him. I will say this shouldn't of happened because he knew this road and the traffic well, this I found out later.
I overtook, gave a smile at his bike, then pushed on.
Now this is when my weekend changed.
